I'm a Tennessee country gal. Born on March 4th, 1956 (3-4-56) at Vanderbuilt Hos. in Nashville. I was a cute baby, I don't know what happened but I out grew that.
MY father: Albert Ray Clouse, my mother: Betty Ruth Kelly Clouse. They were very young when they married, she was 15 & he was 17. I came along 9 1/2 mos. later. Yes I was a honeymoon baby! I grew up in a home full of love from them and the grands and great-grands. I come from good people and proud to be able to say that. Daddy's side are Cherokee (Wolf Tribe), Mom's Irish & Cherokee. Have done a lot of digging into my family tree and found good & bad there. But GOD is a strong part in most of them.
My grandmothers were crafty women, quilting & crocheting. And such grand cooks, I can still smell and taste thier wonderful meals. They were down home southern country cooks. All meals were started with the blessing, & ended with a thank you to the cook.
My moma and daddy were good cooks also. And thanks to all of them, I am too. There is nothing like fresh from the garden or smoke house.
