Note: Check your joint at the base of the thumb to mitt, make sure it is closed enough as not to burn your hand. If there is a hole or holes there, sew closed with sewing needle & cotton sewing thread. This mitt is not thick enough to use as an oven mitt. But if you use 3 strands of Peaches & Cream Cotton, it could be used as an oven mitt.

Continue in this manner until 11 rnds or desired size is reached. Fasten off.

    And it is done!

    Kitchen Pants Dishcloths

    Kitchen Pants Dishcloths

    Materials:
100% Cotton worsted weight yarn ( like Sugar and Cream )
small amout of ribbon in a matching color
    5.00m crochet hook (am.H/8)

This will take more than 1 of the 2oz Peaches and cream....3 of the 2oz will make 2 sets of pants. As you have to make 2 dishcloths to form pants.

    Chain 28.

Row 1: DC in 3rd chain from hook and in each chain. (27 dc)

Row 2: * Ch 3 (for first dc though out this pattern), turn, dc in each dc* across.

Row 3 - 14: Repeat from * to * and finish off. And this will make 1

Assembly: When both cloths are made and ends tied in, fold each in half and thread ribbon through second last row, pull the ribbon till the cloth looks like the ruffle on bloomers and tie in a bow . This is the first leg. Repeat with second cloth. Next, thread the ribbon through second row from top

Make sure the clothes are folded in the same way. If the rows on one is across once folded the other should be also. Otherwise you have one going up and down, the other across. I did this once.

The ribbon can get as fancy as you like. To make a top would you need to tie on the 2 row top and the middle

Add this poem and you have yourself a great wedding shower gift or a cute kitchen decoration.

    Now don't get excited,

    And don't be misled

    These pants aren't for you,

    But your kitchen instead

So when you are finished with thanks and good wishes

Just untie the ribbons and go do your dishes

    One more poem!!

    Don't get excited

    And don't get misled

    These aren't to wear

    But for dishes instead

    So take off the bows

    And pull out the stitches

    And you'll have two dishcloths

    Instead of the breeches

NOTE: You can make them fancy with ribbon roses or dress them down
